If you have tried to book a room at CSS, you have probably seen that there are 7 different room types – each with it’s own pros and cons.
To add to the confusion there are 7 different room blocks and each room type is scattered among the blocks.
If you are having trouble deciding – first, read our blog post on how to pick the best room block for your needs – once you have figured out which room block works best for you, then come back to figure out which room type is best.
To be honest though – if you are spending a lot of time in your room at this resort, then you are doing something wrong (or it’s raining a lot!). This resort is all about the outside – spending all day outside in the sun on the beach. Your room is really just a place to crash at night and all of the rooms feature the same beds, powerful air conditioners and all of the same amenities (fully stocked mini bar).
Unless there is a specific room amenity (like a balcony) that you desire – booking the cheapest room for the most amount of nights is a great way to travel.
Deluxe Ocean Suite
Located only in C Block, these are the cheapest rooms in the resort but don’t let this dissuade you. They are centrally located very close to Palazzina and the Main beach/pool.
There are only 1-2 flights of stairs from the lowest levels to the C Block rooms.
These rooms are the only ones in the resort that lack a balcony but include a sitting room and sun room with a couch and coffee table and the view of the ocean is a bit obstructed by vegetation.
Deluxe Ocean Verandah Suite
Ocean Verandah rooms are scattered among blocks D, E, F and G. The primary feature/difference with these rooms is a huge balcony with a two person lounger and/or a very large outdoor dining table and chairs.
Some of these rooms have phenomenal ocean views that stretch for miles and miles.
The only down side to some of these rooms is the “Dated” furniture and fixtures. These rooms are set to be renovated in the next year.
One Bedroom Ocean Suite
One bedroom ocean suite rooms are also scattered among blocks D, E, F and G.
