Sea Urchins are spiny sea creatures about the size of a baseball or softball.
They are numerous in some locations and are usually found near coral or in the grassy areas of the water.
Most of the sandy beaches are ok but you still need to be wary as the dead ones can be washed onto the beach.
If you step on one, the spiny parts will stick into your foot and break off the animal – leaving you with a very painful injury.
This means a very expensive doctor visit and antibiotics – which means no more drinking!
Bring water shoes and wear them if you’re not sure what to look out for.
